My work is about magic,
about the transformation of spirit
and the flowering of insight
that can spring from attending the rich
gifts of nature.
Johanne Renbeck lives in the lush Hudson Valley of New York State
where she transforms her paintings and poems into
artist's books, installations and performance.
She earned her BA in English Literature
from the University of Rochester and has studied painting and drawing
with artists at Rochester Institute of Technology, Bard College,
and with Helen Frankenthaler at the Santa Fe Art Institute.
